The company operates globally with a culturally diverse team and is looking for an Android Developer to create the native Android experience for its AI Finance Agent, a feature that guides users through financial tasks using artificial intelligence. In this role you will design, develop and ship native Android components for core product areas such as onboarding, account management, card handling, payments, transfers, rewards and AI‑driven user journeys. You will translate complex financial processes into smooth, fast mobile flows, collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend and AI engineers, and take features from concept through production. Ownership of app quality is essential: you will monitor performance metrics, crash rates, loading states and edge cases, and ensure release stability. Post‑launch, you will use analytics and real‑world feedback to iterate and improve the experience, while integrating secure APIs, authentication mechanisms and handling sensitive financial data. The ideal candidate has solid native Android expertise with Kotlin and a proven track record of shipping Android applications that reach real users. You should be comfortable with modern Android architecture, Jetpack libraries, Coroutines, Flow and other current development practices. A strong product sense and an eye for user experience are required, as is the ability to debug production issues, optimise performance and maintain high app quality. The role demands a proactive mindset, comfort with ambiguity and the ability to move quickly without compromising standards. We are seeking engineers who have demonstrable achievements, building, shipping or scaling a significant product, platform or system, not merely a résumé of well‑known employers. The position is fully remote but limited to candidates residing in Germany. English is the primary language for all communication across the global team, so strong English proficiency is mandatory.
