Additionally, the engineer will partner with various teams to support supplier selection, development, and risk assessments, as well as monitor supplier quality trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline. Experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Product Assurance, or Quality Engineering environments is required. Candidates must also have a strong understanding of supplier qualification, development, and performance management processes, as well as experience planning and conducting supplier audits. Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies, aerospace quality requirements, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications are essential. Professional proficiency in English is a must, with German language skills being advantageous. Nice-to-have skills include knowledge of EN9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace quality system requirements. The role may require travel to supplier sites, so candidates should be prepared for this.
