The main responsibilities include leading and managing a team of Solutions Architects across EMEA. This involves providing hands-on support for key accounts, overseeing and coaching the team on strategic accounts, and partnering with the engineering organization to provide product feedback. The role also entails developing repeatable plays from field trends, tracking and reporting performance, and owning organizational planning, staffing, budgeting, and recruiting. Additionally, the position requires collaborating closely with EMEA Sales leadership to win new business and expand existing accounts. To qualify for this role, candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in Solutions Architect, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-sales roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position. A strong background in modern web technologies such as JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, APIs, and cloud infrastructure is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate a proven ability to lead, coach, and scale technical teams in a high-growth environment. Experience working with enterprise and commercial customers across diverse industries is crucial, as is a strong understanding of modern software development workflows, including CI/CD and DevOps. Collaboration with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to drive customer success is also required. Nice-to-have skills include hands-on experience building with Vercel, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks. Experience leading SA teams at a high-growth SaaS or cloud infrastructure company is beneficial. Expertise in developer tooling, edge computing, or performance optimization is also valuable. Comfort in presenting at conferences, webinars, or large-scale customer events is an added advantage. The position is based in London or Berlin, with a hybrid work model requiring three days per week onsite.
