Backed by Point Nine Capital, other Tier 1 investors, the State of Brandenburg and the EU, the company is expanding its team with a part‑time Robotics Operator role for a working student. The day‑to‑day work centres on operating and supervising autonomous machines during training and testing. Most of the supervision is performed remotely from the office, with occasional on‑site visits, and includes acting as the safety overseer for every run. The operator completes pre‑operation checklists, records session data, incidents and anomalies, and performs first‑line technical checks while the machines are running. When issues arise, concise reports are sent to engineers. Supporting test sessions, logging results and feeding observations back to the engineering team are also key tasks. The position requires a university enrolment and a valid driving licence held for at least two years, reflecting the need for confident vehicle operation. Candidates must demonstrate a safety‑first mindset, be diligent, well‑organized and possess a strong troubleshooting attitude. A solid technical foundation is expected, with the applicant being a proficient PC user and able to adapt to flexible shift patterns, including evenings, to fit around study commitments. Additional, non‑essential skills are welcomed. Familiarity with Linux terminals and observability tools such as Grafana or Prometheus is advantageous, as is prior experience with heavy machinery or construction equipment. A deeper grasp of testing processes and willingness to work night shifts are also considered beneficial.
