Kurz zusammengefasst

Almedia is a fast‑growing, bootstrapped tech company that rewards a community of more than 95 million users for interacting with advertisers' products. Based in Berlin, the firm aims to become Germany's second unicorn and is already Europe's third fastest‑growing company of 2025. The opening is for a Working Student, Product QA Engineer who will support the Product and Engineering teams by manually testing new web and mobile features before they reach customers. In the day‑to‑day role you will run test scenarios, explore new functionality from a user's perspective and flag any bugs, inconsistencies or usability problems you encounter. Findings must be documented clearly so developers can reproduce and fix them, and you will verify that reported issues are resolved. As you become more familiar with the product you will also contribute ideas to improve testing processes and gradually support automated‑testing initiatives. The position requires you to be enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a comparable degree programme. You must have strong attention to detail, good problem‑solving instincts and reliable organisational skills. Effective communication in English is essential, and a basic understanding of how websites or apps operate is beneficial. Prior experience with testing, coding or personal software projects is not mandatory but is considered a plus. Additional assets include a natural knack for spotting subtle issues, a user‑centric mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to ask questions and take ownership of tasks. The role offers exposure to modern software development practices within a high‑velocity startup environment. Almedia provides Berlin‑based employees with equity, a modern office equipped for collaboration, transport subsidies, meals, language‑learning support, an Urban Sports Club membership and other perks. The company emphasizes talent development, equal opportunity and a clear growth path for all hires.
