The firm advises corporations, financial sponsors and governments on mergers and acquisitions, capital solutions, restructuring and valuation across a broad range of industries. Within the Technology practice, the team delivers relationship‑driven advice to both domestic and international tech clients, leveraging deep sector knowledge to craft financing and strategic solutions. As an Associate you will be immersed in day‑to‑day deal work. Your tasks include preparing and analysing historical and projected financial data, building and maintaining detailed financial models, and conducting business due diligence. You will draft confidential information memoranda, management presentations and marketing pitches, as well as value companies and businesses. The role also involves leading the planning and execution of marketing engagements, cultivating client and advisor relationships, and supervising junior staff on financial analyses. The position requires a strong academic background and 3–5 years of investment‑banking experience, whether in mergers & acquisitions, a generalist group or an industry team. Candidates must be fluent in both German and English, possess a solid grasp of valuation methodologies, and demonstrate advanced financial‑modeling skills, especially LBO and DCF techniques. Proficiency in Excel, rigorous quantitative and qualitative research abilities, and a clear understanding of financial‑statement analysis are essential. The firm also expects a high work ethic, strong organisational skills, the capacity to multitask, and the motivation to collaborate effectively across all staff levels. Independent work in a fast‑paced environment is a must. Experience or knowledge of the technology sector is viewed favorably but is not a strict prerequisite.
