The role is a Workday HCM Specialist within Vontobel's HR Technology team. You will configure and optimise global business processes, organisational structures, security roles and data quality, aiming to simplify and automate HR workflows. The role also includes supporting Workday releases through impact assessments, testing, documentation and deployment, and contributing ideas for automation and AI‑driven enhancements. The position requires at least three years of hands‑on Workday experience, either from an in‑house or consulting background. Candidates must demonstrate strong configuration expertise in Workday Core HCM and a solid understanding of HR processes. Analytical and problem‑solving abilities are essential, as is the capacity to translate business needs into practical solutions. Effective stakeholder management and clear communication, combined with a proactive, self‑driven and collaborative style, are also mandatory. Fluency in English is required; German language skills and experience in a regulated environment such as financial services are considered advantageous. Nice‑to‑have skills include familiarity with Workday Reporting Calculated Fields, Compensation, Integrations or Workday Extend.
