The Finance Business Partner (Commercial & Supply Chain) role sits within unybrands' Strategic Finance team and reports to the Director of Strategic Finance. unybrands is a growing company that manages a portfolio of consumer‑product brands, operating across commercial, supply‑chain and e‑commerce channels. The position is responsible for owning all reporting and analysis deliverables that inform the company's most critical operational decisions. On a daily basis you will lead forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis for the commercial and supply‑chain areas, dissecting revenue, gross and contribution margins, costs and working‑capital metrics. You will act as the primary finance liaison for the Commercial, Supply Chain, Revenue Operations and People teams, turning financial and operational KPIs into actionable insights, challenging assumptions and linking decisions to P&L and cash‑flow outcomes. The role also involves deep collaboration on inventory, procurement, fulfilment and logistics, where you will evaluate inventory turns, availability, obsolescence and supply‑chain costs to uncover efficiency gains. In addition, you will build financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives such as new product launches, market expansions, acquisitions and tooling investments, quantifying their impact on the business. The employer requires solid experience in consulting, investment banking, FP&A, finance business partnering, commercial finance or strategic finance, preferably within e‑commerce, consumer products, retail or distribution. An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics or business is mandatory, while a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA in progress or newly earned is preferred. Candidates must be able to manage workstreams independently and produce high‑quality outputs with minimal supervision. Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus. Technical expectations include advanced MS Excel skills for complex modelling and data analysis, and the ability to work with large datasets. Experience with Python, SQL or VBA is considered a strong advantage. A solid grasp of financial statements, management accounting principles and performance metrics is essential. The role also calls for strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, commercial acumen, and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication, a proactive entrepreneurial mindset and comfort in a fast‑moving, scaling environment are also highlighted.
