Kurz zusammengefasst

BRG is looking for Forensic Consultants to join its Düsseldorf office, supporting investigations and disputes through digital evidence, data analytics and AI‑driven solutions. The firm blends academic expertise with business consulting, offering services that span economics, corporate finance, performance improvement and complex investigations for global clients. The role is open to candidates at any seniority level, from junior professionals with internship experience to senior consultants who can lead large‑scale engagements. Day‑to‑day work will vary according to experience and specialization. Junior consultants will assist in collecting and preserving digital evidence, support document‑review tasks, analyse transactional data or contribute to AI prototypes under supervision. More experienced consultants are expected to conduct forensic imaging, manage eDiscovery processing, perform SAP‑based analytics and implement AI‑enabled review workflows, documenting methods and presenting clear findings. Senior consultants will design collection strategies, lead multi‑disciplinary teams, oversee quality, manage client relationships and budgets, and communicate complex results to legal counsel and senior stakeholders. The position requires native‑level fluency in written and spoken German to review German‑language records, discuss findings with clients and produce reports. Candidates must demonstrate a genuine interest in at least one focus area, IT forensics, eDiscovery, structured data analytics or AI, and have relevant practical experience. For junior applicants this means internships or working‑student roles that involved digital‑evidence handling, document‑review support, data analysis or AI prototyping. Experienced applicants need proven hands‑on experience in one or more of the technical domains and the ability to deliver defined workstreams independently. Senior candidates should have substantial experience designing approaches, leading engagements, supervising teams and ensuring quality across projects. While expertise in every tool or area is not mandatory, familiarity with forensic imaging, email and cloud data collection, metadata analysis, eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity or Nuix, SQL, Python, Alteryx, Power BI or advanced Excel, and AI workflow automation will be advantageous. The role offers exposure to cutting‑edge technologies within a collaborative, agile environment that values interdisciplinary teamwork and global reach. BRG's commitment to equal opportunity ensures a supportive workplace where diverse perspectives are encouraged. What the role asks for: - Native‑level written and spoken German - Relevant internship or working‑student experience in digital evidence, eDiscovery, analytics or AI - Hands‑on experience in IT forensics, eDiscovery, structured data analytics or AI implementation - Ability to independently deliver defined workstreams - Ability to design approaches, lead engagements and supervise teams (nice‑to‑have) - Ability to manage client relationships, budgets and deadlines (nice‑to‑have)
