As a Senior Marketplace Integrity Manager you will join the Marketplace Integrity team, whose purpose is to protect trust on the platform by preventing fraud and abuse. The role sits within a newly created Marketplace Abuse Prevention function that blends data‑driven investigation, policy design and close collaboration with product, engineering and business teams to stop harmful activity before it impacts travelers, suppliers and partners. On a day‑to‑day basis you will define the vision, structure and operating model for the Abuse Prevention function, establishing how abuse is identified, prioritized and governed across the company. You will set key performance indicators, targets and frameworks to bring rigor to the nascent team. Your work will involve discovering and mining risk signals, acting as the detective who uncovers emerging abuse patterns, and turning data insights and internal escalations into comprehensive mitigation strategies. Together with product and tech you will translate those strategies into scalable prevention mechanisms, build continuous monitoring systems and AI‑powered detection workflows that flag threats at scale. The role requires at least five years of experience in marketplace integrity, trust & safety, fraud or risk management, along with a deep understanding of two‑sided platform dynamics and the abuse patterns that arise. You must be comfortable making data‑driven decisions, moving from raw signals to structured hypotheses and clear prioritization frameworks. Proven ability to influence and align cross‑functional stakeholders, product, tech and business, without direct authority is essential, as is demonstrated experience applying AI tools to detection, monitoring or analytical workflows with concrete results. Strong communication skills are needed to translate complex abuse patterns into clear narratives for senior leadership and operational teams. Additional experience that will give you an edge includes having built or scaled a new function or programme in a fast‑moving environment, familiarity with regulatory or policy frameworks such as the Digital Services Act or consumer‑protection law, and exposure to building or evaluating machine‑learning‑based detection models together with technical teams. The position offers a hybrid work model with three days in the Berlin office and two optional remote days, plus the ability to work from anywhere for up to 30 days per year.
