Kurz zusammengefasst
Eaton is seeking a Segment Strategy & Offer Management Leader for its EMEA Data Center team. The company provides power management and sustainability solutions, and this senior role will steer the commercial success of Eaton's systems portfolio within the Data Center segment across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The day‑to‑day work blends strategic planning with hands‑on offer development. The leader will monitor market dynamics and collect Voice‑of‑Customer insights, lead the segment's Strategy Planning process, and create metrics and scorecards to track performance. They will define the segment's growth strategy, map sub‑segment ecosystems, and act as Eaton's thought‑leader on sustainability, digitalisation and power management. In parallel, they will partner with Product Line Managers to shape the Offer roadmap, build business cases, set pricing, run ROI analyses and plan market launches, ensuring alignment with Eaton's profit targets. The role also produces sales enablement tools, tracks pipeline and margin performance, collaborates with marketing on targeted campaigns and ABM, and supports customer events and partnership initiatives. Finally, the leader will manage stakeholder alignment across product, sales, marketing and finance, report progress to senior leadership, and contribute to M&A due‑diligence activities. To qualify, candidates must hold a master's degree or diploma in engineering, preferably electrical engineering, and bring 10 to 15 years of experience in offer management, business development, segment strategy or similar functions. They need a proven record of strategy planning, offer management and systems commercialisation, as well as deep knowledge of critical power and white‑space systems used in data centres. Familiarity with data‑centre construction methods (monolithic, modular, skid‑based and stick‑built) and power‑grid management is required, and fluency in English is essential. Additional strengths are welcomed. Experience with outcome‑based business models is valued, and the ability to build and nurture strategic partnerships, develop joint go‑to‑market strategies and support M&A activities will be seen as advantageous. Preference will be given to candidates based in the UK, followed by Ireland, Western Europe and Dubai, reflecting the geographic focus of the role. What the role asks for: - Master's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical - 10–15 years experience in Offer Management or Segment Strategy - Deep knowledge of critical power and white‑space systems - Understanding of data‑centre construction methods and grid management - Fluent English - Experience with outcome‑based business models (nice‑to‑have) - Ability to develop sales enablement tools and battle cards (nice‑to‑have) - Experience supporting M&A due‑diligence (nice‑to‑have)
