The position of Field Service Engineer, South of Munich is offered by NCR Voyix, a provider of point‑of‑sale, self‑service checkout, server and back‑office equipment. The engineer must also respond to service calls, resolve incidents or escalate them appropriately, carry out preventive maintenance, keep accurate parts inventories, and document all activities, expenses and asset information for billing and reporting purposes. Flexibility is required to adapt schedules, work evenings, weekends or night shifts, and to travel extensively, sometimes handling equipment up to 25 kg. The role demands a clean driving licence and at least a high‑school diploma or equivalent, together with solid computer literacy in Windows and Microsoft Office. Candidates need proven experience in PC hardware maintenance and support, including desktops, servers, peripherals, routers, switches and hubs, as well as a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. The ability to work independently, solve problems quickly, meet deadlines under pressure and maintain high‑quality output is essential. Excellent interpersonal and customer‑relationship skills are required, along with a high level of personal integrity and a team‑oriented mindset. The schedule must be flexible, covering nights, weekends, overtime, shift work and on‑call duties as needed.
