You will also explain basic usage, maintenance and troubleshooting to customers, record installation details and feedback, keep tools and the company vehicle in good condition, and follow all safety and company policies. Coordination with dispatch and customer‑service teams ensures timely appointments, while any product defects you spot are reported back to the organization. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a proven track record in product installation, assembly or a related field. You must have strong mechanical aptitude, be able to read technical manuals and diagrams, and possess excellent customer‑service and communication abilities. Physical stamina is essential, as the job involves repeatedly lifting heavy objects. A clean‑record driver's licence is mandatory, and you should be comfortable using basic hand and power tools while working independently and managing your time effectively. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and evenings, is also expected. While not compulsory, vocational training or certification in areas such as appliance repair or electronics installation is considered a plus.
