Kurz zusammengefasst
The Working Student, Customer Experience & Digital Operations role supports IFA, one of the world's leading technology exhibitions, by enhancing the experience of both visitors and exhibitors. The position sits within the customer‑experience team and focuses on blending direct service with digital innovation, helping the event run smoothly from ticket purchase through to the live show. Day‑to‑day duties include fielding email and phone enquiries from trade visitors and exhibitors about tickets, invoices, the event app and visa matters, and routing sales or press requests to the appropriate departments. The student will also develop response templates and knowledge‑base articles, refine the AI chatbot, and create self‑service tools that reduce repetitive contacts. Maintaining data quality in the exhibitor portal and CRM system forms part of the digital‑services remit, while on‑site support is required during the set‑up phase and throughout the IFA event itself. The role is open to any currently enrolled university student who enjoys communicating with people and has a keen interest in digital technologies. Candidates should be able to work in a structured, service‑oriented manner and stay organized when handling multiple queries. Required language skills are strong German and English; additional languages are considered a plus. The student must be comfortable using digital tools, show an interest in AI and automation, and be reliable, independent and solution‑focused. Availability is needed for the event set‑up period and the IFA dates from late August to early September. Preferred qualifications include studies in Business, Communications, Event or Tourism Management or a related discipline, as well as strong interpersonal abilities for customer interaction. The position offers a unique glimpse behind the scenes of an international tech show, with the chance to influence the visitor journey through both personal contact and AI‑driven solutions. Benefits comprise flexible working hours up to 20 hours per week during the semester (with possible increase during breaks), a modern Berlin office, exposure to CRM systems, AI chatbots and digital service platforms, and collaboration with an international team. The role promises independent responsibilities, room for ideas, and attractive corporate perks.
