The Medical Devices Product Security Engineer will safeguard the cybersecurity of Windows‑based medical devices across their full lifecycle for a company that designs and manufactures regulated health technology. Daily tasks include interpreting IEC 81001‑5‑1, IEC 62304 and ISO 14971 requirements, performing threat modelling, risk and vulnerability assessments, creating and validating security controls, running security tests, and supporting SBOM and vulnerability management while documenting evidence for regulatory submissions. The role works hand‑in‑hand with R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and external partners. What the role asks for: - Knowledge of IEC 81001‑5‑1 standard - Knowledge of IEC 62304 standard - Knowledge of ISO 14971 standard - Experience with Windows‑based medical devices - Ability to conduct threat modelling - Ability to perform security testing - Ability to produce regulatory documentation - Collaboration with cross‑functional teams (nice‑to‑have)
