Rhenus Warehousing Solutions Germany is expanding its Business Analytics Data Solutions team, a hub where logistics, analytics and data intersect. The role of Data Analyst (f/m/d) sits at the heart of this transformation, contributing to the development of a Microsoft‑cloud‑based Data Lakehouse platform and helping the company become truly data‑driven. You will work in an agile corporate setting, collaborating with internal customers and a dedicated BI community to turn raw operational data into actionable insights. On a daily basis you will design and maintain data models sourced from central and operational management systems, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards. You will gather and translate requirements from business units, propose visualisation solutions, and build comprehensive concepts. Using Microsoft Power BI you will create interactive reports and dashboards, while also training and supporting data experts within the BI community. Large‑scale data preparation, analysis and interpretation are core tasks, as is delivering clear recommendations and communicating findings to stakeholders. Continuous learning is encouraged through team exchanges, dedicated learning periods and targeted training programmes. The position requires a solid academic background in a STEM discipline or equivalent professional experience in data analytics. Strong command of both English and German is essential. Proven experience in modelling, analysing and visualising data with Microsoft Power BI is a must. The role also values a proactive attitude: you should feel comfortable approaching colleagues and internal customers to discuss needs and present solutions, and you must be able to work independently with a solution‑oriented mindset. Additional assets include hands‑on experience with cloud‑based data processing platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake, and familiarity with SQL, Python and Spark. A good understanding of logistics processes and a willingness to share knowledge within the team are also seen as beneficial.
