Kurz zusammengefasst

Tensordyne is an AI‑system solutions startup that designs high‑performance, low‑power generative‑AI inference hardware. With headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA, and Munich, Germany, and a distributed team across North America and Europe, the company builds custom silicon, hardware and software to accelerate multimodal generative AI for hyperscaler and neocloud data‑center customers. The open position is for a Simulation & Modeling Engineer who will develop and maintain the functional model of Tensordyne's inference accelerator. Day‑to‑day work involves implementing new architectural features and algorithms in the model, investigating mismatches between the model and hardware, creating and running tests and test plans, tracking code coverage, documenting the model, and validating it against architecture specifications and RTL. The engineer will also evaluate emerging modeling techniques and contribute to ongoing code‑base improvements. The role requires strong modern C++ skills, solid knowledge of RTL and ASIC methodology, and a good grasp of hardware architecture. Candidates must be comfortable with build systems and toolchains, able to turn loosely defined features into tested code with minimal guidance, and possess clear written and verbal communication for cross‑team collaboration. A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline and at least three years of industry experience are mandatory. Preferred, but not required, experience includes familiarity with SystemC/TLM‑2.0, work on AI/ML accelerators or GPU architectures, high‑performance computing backgrounds, Python scripting, and the use of debugging and analysis tools such as sanitizers, profilers, and tracing utilities. Tensordyne highlights a culture that values people, ethics, ambition, excellence, ownership, teamwork, and diversity, and offers comprehensive benefits, competitive compensation, flexible spending options, and recognition programs. What the role asks for: - Strong modern C++ proficiency - Good knowledge of RTL and ASIC methodology - Solid understanding of hardware architecture - Competence with build systems and toolchains - Ability to deliver tested code from loosely specified features - Clear written and verbal communication across teams - BS or higher in CS, CE, EE, or related field - 3+ years industry experience - Nice to have: Knowledge of SystemC/TLM‑2.0 - Nice to have: Experience with AI/ML accelerators or GPU architectures - Nice to have: High‑performance computing background - Nice to have: Python for scripting and tooling - Nice to have: Debugging and analysis tools (sanitizers, profilers, tracing)
