The role also requires close collaboration with architects and designers to align specifications, debug issues, and ensure functional, performance, and quality goals are met. In addition, the senior engineer will mentor junior staff, helping to raise the overall capability of the verification team. The position demands a minimum of ten years of industry experience in digital design verification, with a proven record of technical leadership. Candidates must possess deep expertise in SystemVerilog and the Universal Verification Methodology, as well as familiarity with formal verification methods. A strong grasp of computer architecture, micro‑architecture, and system‑on‑chip integration is essential. Hands‑on experience with simulation tools such as Questa, VCS, or comparable environments is required, along with excellent communication skills to lead cross‑functional collaboration. Preferred qualifications include experience working on RISC‑V CPUs and AI accelerator chiplet architectures, exposure to silicon bring‑up and post‑silicon validation, and a track record of influencing verification strategy across multiple product lines.
