The Senior Digital Transformation & Process Optimisation Consultant, internally titled Senior Value Engineer, acts as a trusted advisor who helps customers unlock strategic value with the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, guiding them from initial landing through expansion, adoption and renewal. In day‑to‑day work the consultant translates client priorities into high‑impact use cases, builds demos and business cases, and runs value assessments or proof‑of‑value projects that are presented to C‑level executives. They facilitate business‑value workshops, identify and qualify process‑enhancement opportunities, derive improvement measures, and drive enterprise‑wide change initiatives. The role also includes creating strategic expansion roadmaps, feeding product‑development feedback, and managing the full customer value journey across multiple accounts while collaborating with sales, partners and Celonis Services. The position requires native‑level German to lead workshops, give executive presentations and manage stakeholder interactions. Candidates must have experience in analytical, customer‑facing roles such as solution consulting, sales engineering or IT/management consulting for a SaaS or business‑software provider, or comparable in‑house analytics centres. Proven knowledge of business‑software SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), RPA, BI tools, dashboard or app development, and strong Python and/or SQL skills are essential. The applicant should have a track record of identifying process‑improvement use cases, acting as a change agent, and delivering value‑realisation, as well as solid project‑management experience handling multiple concurrent projects. Executive stakeholder management, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and domain expertise in finance and/or supply‑chain transformation are also required. Industry experience in manufacturing, automotive, consumer, retail, pharmaceuticals or chemicals is desirable. Nice‑to‑have attributes include deep expertise in one or more of the listed industries, a history of collaborating with IT teams, and the ability to leverage Celonis ecosystem partners for solution delivery.
