Kurz zusammengefasst

DKB Code Factory is building a mobile banking app tailored for small and mid‑sized businesses. As a Junior Android Developer you will join a team that creates clean, reliable code for a product that aims to make everyday banking easier for its users. Your day‑to‑day work will involve developing Android features with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, focusing on usability, performance and reliability. You will help shape a modular architecture using MVVM, Kotlin Coroutines and Android architecture components, and you will turn product, design and backend requirements into functional mobile experiences. Delivering a reliable MVP means integrating RESTful APIs, ensuring smooth user flows and maintaining high code quality through automated testing, code reviews and clear documentation. You will also contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines, development workflows and shared components while learning from team feedback. The role requires around one to three years of hands‑on Android development, whether from professional work, internships or personal projects. A solid grasp of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and modern Android practices is essential, as is familiarity with Android fundamentals such as MVVM, architecture components and asynchronous programming with Kotlin Coroutines. Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with Git‑based version control is expected. Candidates must demonstrate a quality‑first mindset, caring about clean, maintainable code and being eager to enhance testing and debugging skills. Strong collaboration skills and confident communication in English are also required. Additional, non‑essential strengths are welcomed. Experience with automated testing frameworks like JUnit and Espresso, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile release processes, and knowledge of Material Design guidelines and Google Play Store deployment are considered bonuses. Prior work with Java, participation in Agile/Scrum teams, and German language abilities are also valued but not mandatory. The team emphasizes a supportive culture, daily stand‑ups, after‑work gatherings and a focus on curiosity, ownership and collective growth.
