Kurz zusammengefasst

Tacto, a fast‑growing European industrial AI company headquartered in Munich, is looking for a (Senior) Account Manager to help turn its existing customer base into a major source of new revenue. The role sits at the centre of Tacto's expansion strategy, working across Sales, Customer Value and Product teams to identify, negotiate and close upsell, cross‑sell and strategic price‑increase opportunities. As the first dedicated account manager, you will help shape a commercial function that will become one of the company's biggest growth levers. On a day‑to‑day basis you will own the full deal cycle: spotting expansion chances, building business cases, running negotiations and closing contracts while managing pricing logic. You will maintain deep account intelligence, mapping stakeholder dynamics and deciding when to lead the expansion yourself or involve Account Executives or Customer Value colleagues. Forecasting and planning are also key, you will produce accurate expansion forecasts, coordinate timelines and keep internal teams aligned. In partnership with Product and Marketing you will translate new modules into concrete expansion conversations, and you will codify what you learn into reusable processes, qualification criteria, pricing guardrails, forecasting templates and rules of engagement. The position requires 2‑4 years of experience in high‑performance environments, with a proven record of exceeding quarterly or yearly commercial targets in account management, sales or a customer‑success role that includes a commercial component. A strong commercial background in B2B SaaS is essential, as is the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships with senior buyers such as Heads of Procurement and C‑level executives. You must be a tough negotiator who can hold firm on price without damaging relationships, be detail‑oriented about contracts, renewal dates and forecasting, and show genuine interest in industrial procurement. Fluency in native German and fluent English is mandatory. Nice‑to‑have attributes include a passion for building and scaling new commercial functions, the drive to create your own pipeline and forecast discipline, and the ambition to grow the role into a larger book of accounts, a team‑leadership position or a move into Sales or Customer Value leadership. The role offers a unique chance to define the quota model, engagement rules and processes from the ground up, with the upside of shaping Tacto's biggest new revenue lever over the next two to three years. Tacto's backing by Sequoia and Index Ventures, a €50 M fundraise, and a culture that rewards young talent with real ownership make it an exciting environment for fast‑moving, ambitious professionals. What the role asks for: - 2‑4 years experience in high‑performance commercial environments - Proven track record hitting and over‑achieving commercial targets - Commercial experience in B2B SaaS companies - Strong stakeholder management with senior buyers - Tough negotiation skills without burning bridges - Process‑oriented with contract and forecasting detail focus - Native German language proficiency - Fluent English language proficiency
