Iron Mountain, a global provider of records and information management, digital transformation services, data‑center operations and fine‑art logistics, is looking for a Head of Digital Operations for Germany. The role sits within the Operations team and is responsible for steering the day‑to‑day and long‑term delivery of digital services across several German centres, overseeing a business worth roughly €22 million. The day‑to‑day duties include managing business strategies, budgets and operational performance to optimise profit and expense control. You will lead a team of about 200 staff and supervisors, fostering a culture of continuous learning, safety and innovation. Customer experience is a key focus, with responsibility for service quality, labour utilisation and satisfaction through KPI monitoring and Voice‑of‑Customer feedback. You will also ensure compliance with health‑and‑safety standards, oversee facilities and vehicle management, and balance capital‑expenditure projects for data‑centre conversions. Close collaboration with Sales, HR, IT and Finance is required to drive revenue growth, organisational change and digital initiatives. To succeed, candidates must have extensive leadership experience in non‑voice Business Process Outsourcing or Business Process Management operations such as mailroom, scanning or data capture. A solid grasp of profit‑and‑loss management, financial forecasting, database reporting and document‑management solutions is essential, with familiarity with Kofax Capture/KTM noted as advantageous. Proven ability to apply LEAN or other process‑optimisation methodologies in a globally matrixed environment is also required. A bachelor's degree is mandatory, while an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. Fluency in both German and English, spoken and written, is a non‑negotiable requirement.
