The role is a (Senior) Backend Engineer who will sit at the centre of this technology, shaping the services that power the product and influencing the roadmap. Day‑to‑day you will design and build robust, scalable and secure backend services that address real customer challenges. You will work closely with Product Managers to discover problems and craft solutions, and you will partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver new features and improvements. In addition, you will help raise the team's output by extending functionality, tackling technical debt and improving collaboration and communication practices. To succeed you need a strong technical foundation and an entrepreneurial mindset. The position requires at least five years of professional experience building backend systems in fast‑paced environments. You must be proficient in backend development using TypeScript or another strongly typed language, be comfortable with SQL databases and have hands‑on experience with Nest.js or a comparable framework such as Spring Boot. A solid grasp of system design principles, scalability and performance tuning is essential.
