SE³ is seeking a Senior Embedded Development Engineer to lead the creation, implementation and validation of real‑time firmware for its next‑generation automotive sensor platforms. Working remotely on a test site north of Munich, you will partner daily with hardware designers, system architects and test engineers to deliver safety‑critical code for vehicle perception systems that will enter series‑production worldwide. Your day‑to‑day tasks include architecting low‑level firmware, integrating CAN and FlexRay communication, managing RTOS environments such as AUTOSAR or FreeRTOS, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for embedded software. You will also mentor junior engineers and ensure all work complies with ISO 26262 standards. The role demands extensive C/C++ embedded experience, deep RTOS knowledge, proven hardware‑interface skills and a strong background in safety‑critical automotive development.
