On a daily basis the role will design the information architecture that turns fragmented company data into reusable context, defining taxonomies, templates and contributor guidelines. The engineer will onboard functional teams, train non‑technical champions, and provide ongoing support so they can maintain high‑quality content. Operating the context platform involves configuring ingestion from sources such as Slack, Gong, Drive and Notion, handling routine troubleshooting, and escalating complex issues to the Automation team or vendor. Collaboration with IT, Security and Legal will ensure that access to sensitive information meets compliance requirements, while continuous improvement will keep structures fresh and trustworthy. The must‑have qualifications include proven experience in information architecture, designing taxonomies, style guides or similar knowledge programs at scale. Candidates must have hands‑on experience with knowledge or context systems, and be comfortable configuring SaaS platforms, using APIs and integrations, and performing basic troubleshooting. A track record of training non‑technical stakeholders and enabling long‑term content maintenance is required, as is the ability to work with IT, Security and Legal on governance matters without owning the underlying technical stack. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to set quality standards for company knowledge. Nice‑to‑have skills comprise familiarity with Qontext.ai or a comparable agent‑context platform, knowledge of the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and a background in knowledge management, metadata or data governance.
