The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst include preparing financial statements, board reports, budgets, and KPIs. They will also perform quality assurance on financial and accounting work, analyze budget-to-actuals, and provide insights to facilitate decision-making. Additionally, the role involves partnering with M&A colleagues to support the integration of acquisitions, implementing process improvements, and developing ad hoc reports and dashboards. The analyst will also document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide financial advice to the business as needed. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in a finance or accounting role and a qualification or part-qualification from a recognized financial or accounting body. They should have a solid working knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Fluency in German and English is required. Nice-to-have skills include experience with financial systems, particularly Oracle NetSuite. The role is based in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), and the team values a highly motivated and energetic individual with an interest in entrepreneurship, software, and finance. The expected base salary for this position is €80,000 - €85,000, excluding annual bonus and equity.
