The Warehouse Trainer role supports the company's mission by training new hires and ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles. The Warehouse Trainer's main responsibilities include conducting on-the-floor training for all hourly associates, evaluating performance, and ensuring all training documentation is completed properly. They will also act as a point of contact for new hires, collaborate on identifying necessary training material updates, and maintain high availability for training needs. The role involves reporting to the department manager and assisting with training in their home department when needed. To qualify for the Warehouse Trainer position, candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience training peers or groups, and experience facilitating training or presentations to groups of five or more people. Bi-lingual skills in English and Spanish are desirable. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, and experience in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, and organized. They should also be willing to work overtime and possible weekends as needed. Nice-to-have skills include strong relationship-building skills and high influencing skills. The role is based in a warehouse environment, and the team values a high level of availability and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. The shift pattern is Sunday to Wednesday, from 2 PM to 1 AM.
