Kurz zusammengefasst

The Lessons Learned Analyst role at CACI supports the SOCEUR Lessons Learned Program, a structured system that turns operational data into validated lessons for future doctrine, training, and leader development. CACI is a technology and intelligence contractor that provides services to U.S. government customers, and this position sits within the SOCEUR/ Wiesbaden hub, acting as the central node for the operating force. On a daily basis the analyst will gather refined lessons learned products from subordinate units, synthesize them, and identify macro‑level trends, recurring friction points, and best practices that may be invisible to individual units. The analyst will also facilitate internal remediation by standardising tactics, techniques and procedures across groups, draft operational trend assessments and capability‑gap reports for higher‑headquarters review, and use advanced communication platforms to ensure seamless information flow between tactical data collectors at the CSU level and strategic analysts at the SOCEUR level. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and graduation from a service‑component Special Operations qualification course such as Army Special Forces, Ranger, Psychological Operations, Civil Affairs, Navy SEAL/SWCC, Marine CSO/MSOC, or Air Force Special Tactics. Candidates must have experience supporting or serving on the staff of a General Officer‑level command (e.g., US Army Special Operations Command, 1st Special Forces Command, USAJFKSWCS, or a Theater Special Operations Command). Knowledge of knowledge‑management portals, Army SOF command structure and doctrine, and the ability to prepare collection plans, conduct interviews and observations, write detailed reports and brief leaders are also required. Preferred qualifications include ten or more years of cumulative Special Operations Forces experience, with senior‑rank service as a Sergeant Major, Senior Chief Warrant Officer, or Field Grade Officer. Graduates of senior‑leadership professional military education, such as USASMA, a sister‑service Senior Enlisted Academy, WOAC/WOSC for warrant officers, or ILE/CGSC for commissioned officers, are desired; a master's degree may substitute for the PME requirement. The role is full‑time, may involve up to 10 % local travel, and is contingent on funding, though similar positions are regularly available at CACI. CACI promotes a culture of integrity, trust, and continuous growth, offering flexible time‑off, extensive learning resources, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education, and time‑off benefits. The salary range for this position is $99,300, $208,600, dependent on location, experience, and other factors. What the role asks for: - Active TS/SCI clearance - Graduate of a service‑component Special Operations qualification course - Experience supporting a General Officer‑level command - Knowledge of knowledge‑management portals and real‑time systems - Understanding of Army SOF command structure and doctrine - Ability to prepare collection plans and conduct interviews/observations - Ability to write detailed reports and brief leadership - 10+ years SOF experience, senior‑rank (nice‑to‑have) - Senior‑leadership PME graduate or master's degree (nice‑to‑have)
