Scope Group is seeking a senior Atlassian Jira Engineer to join its Business Process Management team. The company, a leading European provider of independent credit ratings, ESG analysis and fund evaluation, operates from several major cities across Europe. The role will focus on shaping and delivering a world‑class, highly integrated Jira environment that supports the firm's various business units. The day‑to‑day work revolves around securing and maintaining Jira and Confluence instances, planning projects, tracking milestones and communicating with stakeholders. You will keep existing Jira projects, workflows, automations and permissions up to date, and lead the migration of Jira and Confluence Data Center to the cloud. The position also requires close collaboration with cross‑functional IT teams to connect Jira to external data sources and reporting tools, continuous evaluation of add‑ins and plug‑ins, and onboarding new departments by turning business requirements into automated, scalable workflows. Training and knowledge transfer to both technical and business audiences form a key part of the job. Candidates must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, and have extensive hands‑on experience creating and managing Jira projects. At least three years of software development experience is required, together with proven skills in Script Runner, Groovy, REST APIs and Webhooks. Experience with Jira Service Management, Jira Assets and CMDB, as well as integrating external systems with Jira, is mandatory. Strong analytical, conceptual and stakeholder‑management abilities are essential, along with the capacity to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Nice‑to‑have expertise includes familiarity with relational databases, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID and SharePoint. The role offers a senior specialist salary band of €68,400‑€84,000, a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
