We are seeking a Sales Specialist to join the brand‑new SAP Campus store in Walldorf, Germany. The role is part of VF Corporation, a global apparel, footwear and accessories group that owns brands such as Vans, The North Face, Timberland, JanSport and Smartwool. The specialist will work side‑by‑side with the SAP team, helping to create a technology‑driven retail experience while upholding VF's purpose‑led, sustainable values. On a daily basis you will welcome customers into a largely self‑service environment, guide them through in‑store digital touchpoints and support cashless transactions. You will act as the on‑site contact for SAP employees and VF stakeholders, open and close the store according to company procedures, and independently plan and prioritize activities to keep the floor ready for shoppers. Observing customer behaviour, you will suggest product recommendations, monitor performance indicators, and share insights with the Retail Manager. Additional duties include following stock‑handling and loss‑prevention rules, executing visual‑merchandising standards, and escalating any technical or process issues that arise. The position requires proven experience in a comparable retail role such as Sales Specialist, Senior Sales Associate or Supervisor. Candidates must be able to work autonomously, organise priorities and take ownership of daily execution. A genuine interest in retail technology and confidence in learning new digital tools are essential, as is the ability to explain these tools clearly to customers. Strong customer‑service and communication skills, fluency in German and good working English, and a meticulous approach to reporting and administrative tasks are also mandatory. The role calls for basic troubleshooting skills, composure when technology falters, and the flexibility to adapt to a changing pop‑up environment.
